Stages: line up backups automatically
Ask your first choices, and automatically move on to the next group if enough of them can't do it.
Stages let you ask people in order. Ask your first choices; if enough of them say no, the next group is asked automatically.
Set up stages
- In Check Availability, add your first-choice people (Stage 1).
- Choose + Stage and set the rule, for example: If 2 contacts respond Unavailable, then send the following stage. You can also count Limited answers.
- Add the people for the next stage. Repeat for more stages.
- Choose Review. You'll see every stage and its rule before you send.
When the next stage goes out
- When the number of people you set give the answers you chose, or
- When people in the current stage still haven't answered a while after their last reminder.
Stages stop as soon as someone in the current stage says Available (or Limited, unless your rule counts Limited answers), so you don't ask more people than you need.
